Check Out Chef Suzanne Vizethann at Attack of the Killer Tomatoes Festival July 21st!!
The “Attack” is back by popular demand. Due to its continued success in 2012, JCT. Kitchen & Bar is hosting another celebration of the South’s best chefs, farmers and mixologists, who will join forces to benefit Georgia Organics in the JCT. Kitchen Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival. Each featured chef is paired with a local farmer to create a tomato dish for attendees to sample, while the featured mixologists stir up their own signature tomato cocktails. Festival goers and high-profile judges – Garden & Gun Deputy Editor Dave Mezz, James Beard Award-winning authors Matt and Ted Lee, Food & Wine Associate Food Editor Daniel Gritzer, Esquire restaurant features writer John Mariani – will vote for their favorite dishes and beverages.
On Sunday, July 21 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., JCT. Kitchen & Bar will be hosting the event to celebrate some of the South’s best chefs, farmers, and mixologists, who will join forces to benefit Georgia Organics in the fifth annual JCT. Kitchen Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival. The festival will once again be held at JCT. Kitchen & Bar and will spread out over the pedestrian bridge that connects the two sides of Westside Provisions District to feature 35+ chef participants, 14 mixologist participants, and 30+ farmers. The event will also include live music from The Spazmatics and local chef band Five Bone Rack.
A total of 1,400 tickets will be available for attendees. Last year’s festival raised close to $26,000 for Georgia Organics.
