Jewelry by Meaghan Torbert McCord
Saddle D link tassel with Rose Quartz
Local jewelry designer, Meaghan Torbert McCord, specializes in inspiring concepts and creative direction through a sustainable design practice. She enjoys discovering the extraordinary and beauty within the minute details seen in the everyday, especially those unnoticed details of life lived. Recognizing the importance of emotionally durable design, McCord developed her ‘weathered, worn and torn’ inspiration and rough luxe style. Inspired by architecture, urban environments and geometric forms, the sterling D link tassel collection is fabulously fun, modern and hip. Materials including deer skin lace, cast sterling silver, bundles, tufts and fringe, combined with organic and natural semi-precious stones create funky chic bespoke necklaces for every occasion.
Artwork from Mary Bairstow
Note from artist: “Having survived cancer and numerous surgeries on my face, lead me to re-evaluate what beauty is to me. In a series of photographic montages / reliefs, through layers of visual “coding” I reveal and obscure my external and internal definitions of beauty and myself.
Through my love of so much diverse visual imagery and stimuli, from my background in design to my love of graffiti, street art and fine art and my use of post modern techniques of appropriation and deconstruction, I have found an original, personal and singular voice where I reveal my true sense of self and share that with the viewer.”

Based in Atlanta but available for delivery throughout the nation, PeachDish is a meal kit delivery service that sends all of the fresh ingredients and Southern-inspired recipes to make two dinners at home each week, for as few as two or as many as eight people. PeachDish celebrates the freshest ingredients and food that’s full of flavor. Bright green field herbs. Local produce and meats. Southern-inspired and innovative flavors. PeachDish appreciates that purchasing at the season’s peak is the best way to achieve the most flavor and nutrition, and the company works with farms and purveyors to source ingredients that are local to the Southeast, which has an especially long growing season, and organic as often as possible. Food you can believe in, that always tastes great.
PeachDish began in 2013 when Hadi Irvani, a native Atlantan, combined his passion for great food and experience with business and e-commerce. This summer, Judith Winfrey joined the team as President. The granddaughter of a Georgia farmer and daughter of a professional caterer, Judith’s background is in restaurant operations, most recently with James Beard Award-winning Atlanta Chef Linton Hopkins’ Resurgens Restaurant Group (Holeman & Finch, Restaurant Eugene, and more). Alongside her husband Joe, Judith runs Love Is Love—the only organic farm within Atlanta’s city limits.
Committed to sustainability, PeachDish has developed a box that ships with 100% recycled and biodegradable liners. By only delivering the pre-measured amount required, PeachDish eliminates the waste associated with store-bought packaging and unused ingredients.
Two 5-Course Chef’s Tasting Menu
Voted “Best New Restaurant” this year in Creative Loafing, BETTER HALF opened in December 2013 and is the first Atlanta brick-and-mortar restaurant from husband-and-wife team Zach and Cristina Meloy. The pair are also founders of Atlanta’s beloved underground supper club PushStart Kitchen, started in 2011 at the Goat Farm Arts Center. BETTER HALF is housed in a small, warm and inviting space in Midtown, with Chef Zach Meloy’s cooking on full view in an open kitchen. The ever-changing menu and modern plating are inspired by Zach’s Southern upbringing in Atlanta and his time living in Latin America, where he met Cristina while cooking in Costa Rica. Zach leads the kitchen as Executive Chef and creates the small-batch cocktail menu, and Cristina is the restaurant’s General Manager and Wine Director. The small team of three cooks also includes Jonathan Miller (formerly of Cakes and Ale, JCT Kitchen, Woodfire Grill) and Timothy Kelly (formerly of Per Se, Atera, The Spence, Restaurant Eugene/Holeman and Finch, and BluePointe). The restaurant is located at 349 14th Street (between State Street and Atlantic Drive) and opened for dinner Wednesdaythrough Saturday.

Batdorf & Bronson Coffee Roasters has been roasting exceptional coffee in Atlanta for 20 years. They own and operate two Dancing Goats coffee shops in Atlanta, but their main business is roasting coffee wholesale. We have been proudly serving Batdorf & Coffee coffee since we opened our doors over 2 years ago.
In 1988, before the Pacific Northwest became home to the coffeehouse boom, Larry and Cherie Challain opened the first Dancing Goats® Coffee Bar in Olympia, Washington. A passion for serving great coffee grew into a passion for roasting the world’s finest coffees as they went on to develop Batdorf & Bronson Coffee Roasters, one of the most well-regarded specialty coffee companies in America. In order to ensure the delivery of fresh roasted coffee to customers across the country, Batdorf & Bronson opened its Atlanta roastery in 1994.
